Bruno Giacomazzi is a musician from São Paulo with a glimpse into the universe of blues and rock. He is an alumni of the Faculdade Santa Marcelina. Bruno began his career at a young age. Inspired by his father, he began to play guitar with a particular teacher who would go and become one of his greatest friends and idols.
According to Bruno is was his own music and the reaction of the audience, that helped inspire him the most.
"One of the things inspired me most was the feeling when I played my own songs to the people and they starting singing and enjoying the music I was performing."
How has your talent impacted your life Bruno?
"My talent has a strong impact in my life since I have decided to work with music. I have changed my way of life, what I study, how I see my career over next years and what are the best decisions I should take."
Do you think your talent has inspired others? If so, how?
"I have never thought about this before, but I think through my songs and my music, I could inspire some people to listen more often blues and rock songs, learn more about general music culture and some of my friends have started taking guitar, bass, drums lessons, more than this, a few are performing into a rock band nowadays."
Tell us what are some of the experiences you have had with your talent?
"I have spent 3 months in England and it was one of my best experiences ever. I could play with musicians from different nationalities, and in exceptional bars/pubs such as the famous "Cavern Club" (Beatles), located in Liverpool and the pub "Ain’t Nothin' But Blues", located in London... This experiences changed my life, made me see the music in another way, improving me positively in many musical aspects, I began to search the roots of blues, my compositions have started being more inspired by the blues and I believe as a guitar player I have taken a very big leap evolutionary."

So what are your short term & long term goals?
"My plans for the future are: record a CD, perform in other cities and states inside Brazil, participate in blues and rock festivals, film one or two more video clip(s), study the possibility of returning to Europe and playing in a few countries over there. A long term goal I am intending to do is make a travel to USA to perform over there too, but I need to check how the things will impact in my life until there."
Tell us about some of the projects you have worked or have been apart of in the past?
"When I was younger I had a band called “Stay Johnny”, which we had won a band competition promoted by one of the best English schools in Brazil (Cultura Inglesa) as best band, lead guitar, drums and singer. After that, I had performed in a very big festival (Cultura Inglesa Festival), where we have divided the stage with many artists from UK like: Kate Nash, The Magic Numbers and The Dark Jokes… One of the best experiences I have ever had was at HSBC house for 3000 people as an opening band for one of the most famous bands in Brazil called (Capital Inicial)."
Any project in the works in the near future?
"I am looking into working in a new EP, which will have songs that I have composed and more than this, probably 2 video clips performed plugged with my power trio who support me. I am intending to work as well, my social medias and make business with streaming companies to share my music more appropriately."
Do you have any advice for those who are trying to succeed in this industry?
"I think the best advice I could give to people who are trying to succeed in music industry are: Always play your music with pleasure, remembering your roots and how your idols used to do, follow your heart and your intuition and most of all, never give up!"
