Stephanie Yanez is an American Jpop singer and model. Since a child, her passion for music was always with her. Her parents exposed her to all kinds of music, which lead to her current musical adventure.

When it comes to goals, Stephanie would like to continue performing and recording music. She loves to record her own music to complement her passion for writing lyrics.

Her talent has impacted her life in many ways. She tells us "I have been given the best memories and I feel truly blessed. I've performed in places I would have never gone to on my own, met and worked with fellow talented artists, and experienced my love music in its truest form."

During her career, Stephanie has had the privilege to be recognized for her talent.

Music Career

She won the title of AX Idol at the Anime singing competition held at the biggest Anime convention in the United States, Anime Expo. She has released numerous original CD’S and singles in Japanese and English which are all on iTunes, Amazon,etc.

She has had the opportunity to tour throughout the the States as well international in Japan. She officially collaborated with Crypton Future Media’s Hatsune Miku with “Ultimate Miku World”, an exclusive song and animated music video by TinierMe. She also was a sponsor for the online Anime Japanese gaming site called TinierMe where her image was created as a main character in the game.

She just released 2 Anime cover albums out in Japan that feature famous songs from Anime series like Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Naruto, Laputa, etc. She also just released her world wide digital Anime album on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc. All of her Anime cover albums and Anime cover digital releases are courtesy of

Modeling Career

She has done runway modeling for various companies like the popular character Hello Kitty and company Sanrio at a special event by the Japan Consulate, Japanese clothing label galaxxxy, Japanese clothing label Aymmy in the batty girls, Japanese clothing label Ghost of Harlem, Japanese cosplay clothing label PURE by Don Quijote, US clothing label Her Universe where she modeled Studio Ghibli & Star Trek in collaboration with Her Universe, US clothing label Popkiller, and US clothing label Miss Alphabet.

Stephanie has done print modeling for San-X and galaxxxy. She has also done hair modeling for the Japanese hair company Hoyu. She promoted the anime Yo-Kai Watch where she danced with the mascot Jibanyan for the first US debut of the anime series at Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival.

Television Career

She also promotes the Japanese company San-X and character Rilakkuma at various events as a Rilakkuma Kawaii Girl. Stephanie was featured on the Japanese TV program Space Shower TV featuring singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu where she commented on Stephanie’s rendition of Fashion Monster on the ukulele. She has also was seen on TV as the Tokyo Reporter for Anime Select’s Comcast On Demand documentary and series “Crazy Sexy Tokyo”.

She was a spokesperson and starred in a promo for the Anime Durarara and the company Aniplex USA. She interviewed Japanese singer Shoko Nakagawa and was featured in her blog. She has opened up and shared the same stage with Kotoko, Kimura U, Ayumi Seto, Yousei Teikoku, and Nikka Costa.

Through her carreer, Stephanie has worked on numerous projects with Japanese companies such as, San-X, Crypton Future Media, galaxxxy, Sanrio, Aniplex, Geneon, IVE Sound, Broccoli, Gcrest, Victor Entertainment, Ingram, Her Universe, Level-5, etc.

Currently, Stephanie is working on more anime cover albums that will be releasing in the near future. She is also working on releasing her own original music sometime next year.

Her advice for those looking to be in the industry is "Be passionate, have fun, and make great friends!"

Stephanie teamed up with Drew of Doki Press and Japanese producer/guitarist Polo Yazaki to create a special video highlighting some of the songs acoustically featured on my new Anime album. Anime songs from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Naruto, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gintama, and Durarara!! are featured in the new release.
